This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our Service:

Account Information

Email address: Used to create your account and communicate with you.
Name: Displayed in the app for personalization purposes.
Password: Stored securely using industry-standard hashing. We never store or transmit passwords in plain text.

User-Generated Content

When you use the Service, you create and manage your own financial data. This includes:

Cashflows: Names and details of the cashflows you create to organize your finances.
Accounts: Individual accounts within each cashflow, such as bank accounts, credit cards, or digital wallets.
Categories: Custom categories you define for organizing transactions (e.g., salary, bill payments).
Transactions: Records of income and expenses you add to your cashflows, including amounts, dates, memos, and category assignments.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account.
Allow you to track, categorize, and analyze your personal finances through cashflows, accounts, categories, and transactions.
Generate analytics reports based on the data you provide.
Communicate with you regarding service updates, security alerts, or support responses.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your password is hashed and salted before storage. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access: You can view all your data within the app at any time.
Correction: You may update or correct your account information through the app settings.

Deletion

You own your data. You may request deletion of your account and all data you own at any time. This includes your profile, cashflows you created, and all data within them.

To initiate this, go to the Profile tab in the app and tap Delete My Account, or visit our Delete Account page on the website. If your email address is not yet verified, the in-app option will not be available — use the website instead.

Once you submit a deletion request, your account will be permanently deleted 90 days from the date of your request, inclusive. The exact date and time of deletion is shown to you on the Delete Account screen and page before you confirm.

Changed your mind? Simply log back into your account at any time before that date to cancel the deletion. No further action is needed — signing in is enough.

After submitting your request, you will receive a confirmation email containing the exact date and time your account is scheduled for deletion. The email also includes a Delete My Account Now button. Clicking it takes you to our website's confirmation page, where you can choose to delete your account immediately without waiting out the 90-day period.

Important

Once your account is deleted — whether after the 90-day period or immediately — it is gone permanently and cannot be recovered or reversed. You may register again using the same email address, but all previous data you owned will be completely and irreversibly removed.

Please note that data you created inside cashflows owned by someone else — such as transactions you added to a shared cashflow — will not be deleted, as you do not own that cashflow or its contents.
